Thermal comfort

Thermal comfort means that people should not be too cold or warm as it has an impact on our wellbeing and productivty. But it is not only about air temperature. We also have to ensure a good balance between, air humidity, radiant temperature and air speed.

It's important

The level of these variables depends on our subjective senses and the type of activity in the room. When designing thermal comfort it is also very important to consider the energy consumption, i.e cost and sustainability.

It is a matter of creating an indoor environment that is a combination of good air quality, pleasant temperature, good sound environment and good light quality. All these factors have to be balanced and adapted to the needs of people
